The various department in each Branch needs to be created first before adding your employees.
Go to Branches-->Listing and click on Manage Department to add new department using the add button on the top right.
The Roster is the schedule of all employees on the calendar
The Shift is the time duration in a day an employee is to work, for example "9am-3pm" shift is a 6 hour shift. Shifts must be created before it can be assigned to an Employee and then assigned in the Roster
An Employee salary can only be calculated when the Employee has been assigned a shift for the month in the Roster.
Roster assignment can easily be done by following the following steps
1. Create all Employee profile First
2. Assign all employees to their respective Shifts for one week.
3. You can now use the duplicate feature to duplicate the week to the desired date range. All Employees and their schedule will be automatically duplicated.
It is better to name the shifts in accordance with the time duration e.g Shift Named "9am-5pm" for 9am to 5pm shift.
